Our gourmet blends are some of the best flavours you’ll ever find among Indian teas. That’s because we source our flavours, ingredients and tea leaves from the finest places where they grow, and are brought together by our expert tea sommeliers to provide the most premium experience in every sip. Below are the three best teas from our collection and a breakdown of how and where their ingredients are sourced for you.
Purple Cranberry Tea
This is a unique blend of good health and deliciousness going together hand in hand in a cup. The Purple Cranberry Tea consists of Green Tea leaves, Purple Flower Buds and juicy chunks of Cranberries in the mix. This gives a stand our flavour of a fruity drink with the goodness of herbal tea.
The Cranberry fruit chunks used in this gourmet blend is sourced from the best fruit orchards of Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. The ripe, red and juicy berries are dehydrated and chopped into very tiny chunks and mixed directly with the tea. The delicious magic unfolds when it is dropped into a cup of hot water as it begins to release its fruity flavours.
What gives our tea its beautiful purple colour are the dried butterfly pea flower buds that comes mixed with the green tea leaves. Originating from the South East Asian countries of Thailand and Vietnam, the petals of this bright blue flower is a common ingredient in various herbal beverages.
And of course, the TEA which makes this beverage strong is the full leaf Green tea we source from the finest tea gardens of Assam in the North East of India.
Litchi Tea
A fabulous infusion of delicious fruits and healthy green tea. Such fruity blends are also known as tisane, something similar to herbal tea, but obviously a tastier version. The Litchi Tea, as the name goes is a rich tea blend with lovely flavours of Indian Lychee fruit.
Our gourmet blend of Litchi Tea has flavourful leaves of Green Tea sourced from the best tea gardens of Darjeeling in West Bengal. And the star of the blend, the flavour of Litchi is extracted from sweet and ripe pink Lychees grown in the finest orchards of Tripura, Bihar, Haryana and Punjab.
This blend is a hot favourite among our patrons who love to sip on something more than just a cup of tea.
Mighty Darjeeling Tea
The Champagne of Teas, the aromatic black tea brew, now also available as White Tea, known as Mighty Darjeeling is a hot favourite among tea connoisseurs. This tea is known for its unique flavour that cannot be replicated with any other tea blends.
As the name goes, this tea is made from the roasted leaves grown in the Kalimpong and Darjeeling region of West Bengal. A widely exported brew, this tea is the crown jewel of Indian Tea industry. The Darjeeling tea is made using the small-leafed, Chinese variant of Camellia Sinensis plant, and it gives a musky spiciness with an earthy, wooden and slightly bitter taste to the brewed beverage.
It further has a floral aroma to it, apart from the light, thin bodied infusion it creates upon brewed. The Darjeeling tea was also the first Indian product to receive a Geographical Identity tag from the Indian Patent Office (2004).
